A little bit about me

Welcome!
I grew up racing dinghies, started windsurfing when I turned 30, started wing foiling when I turned 60. As I write this, I'm 3 years into my wing foiling journey. It's been and still is, loads of fun and I feel that I've learnt a lot, although not quite as quickly as the young people. My mind is willing, my body sometimes has other ideas.

The best bit, though, is that I've shared the journey with my family and a bunch of good friends - the wing foiling community where I live is welcoming, supportive and vibrant.

So, it feels natural to want to encourage others to take up this fantastic watersport. My hope is that by sharing some of what I've learnt I can get a few more people obsessively checking the forecast, ready to head to the coast at the first opportunity.
